Eat Local

Work up an appetite

No holiday or weekend away is compete without sampling the local delights. We are really passionate about supporting local businesses so here are a few of our top picks all within 20 minutes of Croft Meadows Farm:

Pubs

Whether it’s a doorstop sandwich and a pint of ale or a dinner of local flavours with a good wine, these pubs promise great food, an open fire and plenty of locals:

Tea & Cake

There is always time for tea and cake and we are lucky enough to be spoilt for choice with some teashops with great character.

  • No. 5 Café – Actually it’s all about the fresh sandwiches here, made from homemade bread from their bakery LiveLoveLoaf next door on Bath Street in Leek.
  • Spout – Great coffee, Teapigs tea and great homemade cake. It’s one of our favourite spots to watch the world go by.
  • Ramblers Retreat – A welcoming family run tea room in nearby Dimmingsdale. Dog friendly and the perfect spot for you both to refuel after a woodland walk.

Totally Locally
